Our Practitioners

We represent a comprehensive team of general dentistry, oral surgery and hygienist services. Our hygiene team play an important role in oral health, particularly periodontal care.

Principals Dr Wynne Yip B.D.Sc. and Dr Vinny Wang B.H.Sc. (Dent) MDent. head up a highly skilled team of General Dentists, Oral Surgery Consultant, and Dental Hygienists.

Dr Wynne Yip

Principal Dentist

Wynne Yip joined Blackburn Dental Group in 2006 after having worked in various disciplines of dentistry since she graduated in 2000.

Dr Vinny Wang

Principal Dentist

Vinny Wang joined the practice in 2021. After graduating from La Trobe University Bendigo Vinny saw a need to service residents of country Victoria and continued to work in Shepparton and Bendigo.

Dr Khanh Nguyen

Dentist

Khanh Nguyen joined the practice in 2014. Having graduated from The University of Queensland in 2007, Khanh has provided her services both in Brisbane and far north Queensland, including at a mobile special needs dental practice.

Dr Kate Snell

Dentist

Kate Snell joined the practice in 2019. After graduating from The University of Adelaide, Kate returned to Victoria and has since worked in both private and community health dental clinics.

Dr Sophia Richardson

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon

Sophia Richardson returned to Blackburn Dental Group in October 2016 following further studies in Australia and the UK.

Lee-Anne Adams

Dental Hygienist

Lee-Anne’s career in dentistry commenced after graduating from the School of Dental Therapy Melbourne in 1987, working extensively for the School Dental Service in regional and metropolitan Victoria.

Karen Field

Dental Hygienist

Karen Field is part of our dental team that provides individualised preventative treatment and demonstration of correct home care to patients, in order to prevent dental disease and tooth wear.

Aayushma Rijal

ORAL HYGIENIST

Aayushma has a compassionate and professional approach to promoting optimal oral health and is a graduate in Oral Health Therapy from The University of Melbourne.

Siluni Hewa

ORAL HYGIENIST

Siluni is a graduate in Oral Health Therapy from The University of Melbourne. With experience in both metropolitan and rural dental clinics, she has cultivated a dynamic understanding of community oral health needs.
