Dental Hygienists are specially trained registered members of the dental team who work together with our dentists to provide fully integrated dental care. Blackburn Dental Group was one of the first practices to introduce this oral care service in Victoria. Our four hygienists, Cathy Moors, Leeanne Adams, Karen Field and Liza Millard, share this role in our practice. Our hygiene team play an important role in oral health, particularly periodontal care, by providing individualised preventative treatment and demonstration of correct home care to patients, in order to prevent dental disease and tooth wear.
